This Acceptable Use Policy describes the permitted and prohibited uses of the Collectaneum platform (the “Service”). It is designed to protect users, maintain service reliability, and ensure lawful operation of the platform.
You may only use the Service for lawful purposes and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
You must not use the Service to store, upload, transmit, or distribute material that is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, abusive, or that infringes intellectual property rights.
Users must not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service.
Prohibited activities include attempting to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems, or networks connected to the platform.
- Introducing malware or harmful code
- Attempting to bypass security measures
- Reverse engineering or probing platform infrastructure
- Automated scraping or data harvesting without permission
Collectaneum allows users to upload photographs and information relating to collectible items for cataloguing and record keeping.
Uploaded photographs and data should relate to legitimate use of the Service and the documentation of collectible items.
The Service must not be used as a general-purpose file storage or file-sharing platform unrelated to collectible items.
While users may upload multiple photographs of items for documentation purposes, excessive storage usage that significantly impacts platform performance or infrastructure costs may be subject to reasonable limits or account review.
Users must not access the Service using automated tools, scripts, or bots that generate excessive requests or disrupt normal platform operation.
API access or automated integrations may be permitted only where explicitly authorised by Collectaneum.
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of this policy.
Where necessary to protect the platform or other users, Collectaneum may suspend or restrict accounts that breach this policy.
This policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
